Tyrslith

Founded in 1991 in Leicester by Guy Raynor and Linda Edwards. Their first member was Bill followed closely by the young Darren Sibson. By 1993, the Group had grown in number but had split by 1994 due to differences in how the group should be run. Tamsin Foster had been a member from 1993 whilst living in Peterborough but became Provincial about this time.

Twelve members went on to found Draum Broedr, Dave Smith left to found Vara Tuatha whilst the rest stayed with Tyrslith. However, Tyrslith left the Society in 1995 to found the Vikings of Middle England Society. From there, a few other re-enactment groups have been spawned.
