First Aid

Each group is expected to have a qualified First Aider (St Johns, Red Cross, First Aid at Work) - a copy of their certificate should be sent to the Society Health and Safety Officer (safety[at]vikingsonline.org.uk). A copy of all registered First Aiders certificates will be stored here. They will be responsible for First Aid cover at Group events and should contribute to covering Medium and Major events.

Each group should also maintain an appropriate First Aid kit. The kit must at a minimum conform to the Society First Aid Kit List

When an incident occurs, an Accident Report form should be filled in and sent to the H&S Officer.
