Frogge joined The Vikings in the late 70s or early 80s, and was a member of the Blackpool group for several years. He was a distinctive figure on the battlefield, and he was one of the most effective combatants with a number of surprising moves which could catch out the unwary, including leaping as high as he could into the air and striking over the shoulder onto the back of his opponent.
Frogge was also a member of the Sealed Knot, fighting alongside many other old Vikings as part of the Rannoch Company of Sword.
