In Memoriam Neil Paull

Neil Paull, 1967 - 2022

Neil was one of the first members of Saebert's Folc when it was established in Essex in 2006, and was an active warrior and keen participant in the LHE with his wife and daughters. He was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2011, and several rounds of treatment limited his ability to participate in re-enactment events at times, but even as his strength faded he continued to attend events where he could. He will be remembered as someone who always seemed to have a smile on his face, even in the worst of the rain and mud that the British season could deliver, and he was always happy to help anyone in any way he could.

Neil died on 2nd June 2022 with his family around him.
