Male kit
Lower Status Male
As with the female kit, at this level of society there is little to no cultural distinction in clothing. This kit is suitable for a non-combatant, and good when starting out in the LHE.
Basic Combatant
This is very similar to the lower status male kit, but the woollen overtunic now has colour. To emphasise that this is a lower ranking warrior, a hidden helmet is being used, and he is armed with a spear. The weapon could equally be a hand axe, but a sword is not suitable.
Basic Sword Carrying Combatant
This is a higher ranking warrior than the spearman, but still a basic warrior kit. To match the sword, the warrior is now wearing a visible helmet, the tunic is a better fabric and has been decorated. The trousers have also been dyed, and the legwraps have a visible woven pattern.

A close up showing the finer weave of the fabric, and the neckline decoration.
Sword Carrying Combatant
This kit is a step up from the basic sword carrying combatant, with a dyed tunic and better belt fittings. The warrior is now also equipped with a spear as the primary weapon.
