Talk:Sword
We need to think about how to present typology info, and about what else needs saying about swords so that it isn't swamped by the typology. +Wiglaf (talk)
Perhaps present the typology as a picture on the main swords page, and then have separate pages for viking swords, A-S swords etc, which can link to Viking, Norman etc. I've done appropriate text in the draft kit guides (more easily accessible at work than at home, IIRC). User:Benedict (talk)
We're also due a debate on sword sizes, especially whether the long and narrow AC design is strictly authentic. GIven the quality and lifetime guarantee, I'm not desperately sympathetic to phasing them out - but looking at the evidence is on my list of jobs to do. User:Benedict (talk)
Now my data's accessible again, it seems I didn't actually have many widths, and all those I have are definitely rather wider. To be fair though, an open-ended "grandfathering" of items that don't break/wear out isn't that painful... http://weapon.wiglaf.co.uk/biglist.php +Wiglaf (talk)
... possibly with a quiet word with the nice chaps at AC. Though I have to say my instinct is not to lose too much sleep on this. User:Benedict (talk)
28/06/16 Jeppe: I believe the weapon widget is now dead (I had no success following the link) so we should remove it.
1) if you think something should be taken out, be bold and do it, but
2) please check properly first, the page linked to links onward to the still functioning weapon widget if you look at the right hand menu
3) link now fixed
