A Viking Re-enactment group based in Poole, Dorset. We portray a Norwegian Viking mercenary group recreating battles and living history from 700-1100ad. With 30+ members, and growing with each season. We have had a tremendous expansion of our living history over the past two years, and plan on cultivating and expanding this further for 2024!

WEEKLY TRAINING SESSIONS
🐺 If you are interested in joining the Ulfhedinn Vikings we hold training sessions every Thursday evening. Between 7:45pm and 9:45pm @Canford Heath Community Centre, 7 Mitchell Rd, Poole, BH17 8UE. Please use car park in Scarf Rd behind the Pilot Pub.
🐺Combat training involving, shields, swords, axes, Dane axes. We are in the process of exploring and expanding into missiles e.g. archery and slings.
🪡We have a separate staged area, for participants to practice their craft and living history skills, swap advice, tips and troubleshooting, alongside the combat session. Please note this is not a teaching session, but rather a place for self-taught and self motivated practice.
🪡 Crafts that some members typically practice include - Nålebinding, Wire Weaving, Tablet Weaving, Basket Weaving, Embroidery, Sewing, Woodwork, Needle Carving, Arrow making.
PERSPECTIVE NEW MEMBERS
🛡️We now hold a new new members session on the first Thursday of every month.

🛡️You have to be aged over 18 (for combat)
🛡️Participants only, spectators are not allowed.
🛡️Training sessions cost £4.00 per evening, to cover Insurance and hall hire cost.
🛡️There is also a annual Viking society membership fee of £23*, this can be discussed when you attend.
