The Vikings needs to hold a certain amount of information about individual members to ensure that the member can be contacted, that their capabilities and qualifications are recorded and can be accessed when required and that they receive the awards and promotions to which they are entitled. The Society data protection policy applies to all members of The Vikings and any breach of this Policy is considered to be an offense within the Society and in that event, disciplinary procedures will apply. Members details, including all Promotions and Assessments and Society Awards are held centrally on AdminDB.
