Quivers for arrows and crossbows seem to have been simple cylinders of leather, suspended from the belt. They should cover most or all of the length of the missile. Quiver1.JPG Quiver2.JPG

If you are planning to store sharps in the quiver, an extra layer of thick leather at the bottom may be helpful.
