Cathbad of Arran (called Flamebeard in some parts of Alba) was the first Sturaesman of Galloway Longfhada.

He fell in with Vikings whilst travelling in the South of England where he fought and feasted with Fafnirs Bane.

On returning to Scotland he gathered crew for Glasgow Vikings third longship. The crew grew in size, and met weekly in his Wordsmithcrafts workshop. Once a week to fight, and once a week to make and mend everything they needed. With this much going on, it was only a matter of time before the third longship of Glasgow Vikings became a new group, Galloway Longfhada.

He is still active in the group but has handed the leadership on. He works metal, wood and smiths words. Current hobby research includes:
